*It is important to understand that the success of each building block fully depends on the cultivation of the other pillars.

WHAT OUR DEFINITION OF SELF-AWARENESS IS:

Self-Awareness is the conscious knowledge of one's own character strengths, weaknesses, beliefs, feelings, motives, desires, and learning styles.

WHY SELF-AWARENESS IS SO IMPORTANT:

Self-awareness is the foundation of all other social and emotional learning building blocks, propelling them to thrive at ultimate levels.

Nothing is more powerful than understanding who you are at your core. It helps identify your belief system, understand what motivates you, and define how you want others to experience you and what impact you want to have on them. This empowers you to make smarter choices that improve confidence, involvement, learning, achievement, and overall mental well-being.

Self-awareness enables you to evaluate, categorize, and prioritize your attributes which increases your confidence and chances of success. Knowing your superpowers and weaknesses allows you to show up with your best foot forward rather than showing up in insecurities. It is like a treasure chest of valuable information which if applied with skill and intention, can catapult you into becoming true rockstars in whatever you choose to do in life.

When self-awareness is fully developed, you are able to observe your thoughts and feelings as they arise at the moment, while choosing a response that is appropriate to the outcome you desire. If you are not self-aware, you are unable to regulate your emotions which can damage relationships and lead to feeling lost and insecure.

WHERE SELF-AWARENESS FITS INTO YOUR PERSONAL BRAND:

Your personal brand is YOU! It is everything that makes you who you are and how others experience you.

Here's the thing, most people never experience the real YOU because it's buried behind insecurities, fears, traumas, anxiety, and overwhelm. And nothing causes insecurities and fears more than a lack of self-awareness.

The key to unlocking your personal brand is knowing yourself. Self-discovery allows you to confidently know who you are, which makes your other attributes shine brighter.

Like it or not we all have a brand. The difference is that some of us are in charge of it and some are not. It brings order and success into the lives of people who are the masters of their personal brand, and misery to those who have no clue why people react to them as they do. If you want to understand how people perceive and respond to you, you must work on enhancing your personal brand. Having a positive personal brand will facilitate a healthy mindset, which is vital to navigating life successfully.
